At some point during my pregnancy, Casey and I began discussing chores and whether or not our children will have them. This has been an ongoing conversation in our house. Casey feels that our kids need to have chores and I...well...don't. I do believe that our kids need to have responsibilities but I believe that they should focus on their academics and not housework. (I realize my thoughts on this topic may very well change.)
It seems that Casey had a little chat with Ava about pulling her weight around the house. After all, she is one now! When we had finished dinner she decided to start unloading the dishwasher. Her dad put her in charge of the spoons. She's such a good little helper ;)
